Because the Lord your God is a merciful God, he will neither abandon you nor destroy you -Deuteronomy 4:30a

Great is your mercy, O Lord; be gracious to me according to your justice. -Psalm 119:156

The souls of the wicked desire evil; their neighbors find no mercy in their eyes. -Proverbs 21:10

For judgment will be without mercy to anyone who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment. -James 2:13
